Funny how progressives never seem to notice the neo-Nazis in the Palestinian ranks
Siding with neo-Nazis. Richard Ferguson, The Australian, January 8:
(Labor leader) Bill Shorten … attacked the Queensland independent (senator Fraser Anning for attending a rally about immigration and ethnic crime) yesterday … (tweeting:) “When you’re siding with neo-Nazis, you’re on the wrong side.”
Side with who? Katharine Murphy, Guardian Australia, December 18 last year:
Labor’s national conference has called on a Shorten government to “recognise Palestine as a state” … (Pro-Palestine Labor MP Tony Burke defended the decision, arguing) that Australia already recognises governments guilty of human rights abuses.
Siding with neo-Nazis? Josh Axelrod, The Jerusalem Post, October 22 last year:
(Palestinian Authority) TV Preacher says Hitler was sent to punish Jews for Occupation.
Siding with the neo-Nazis? Judah Ari Gross, The Times of Israel, April 20 last year:
Palestinians fly swastika kite with petrol bomb across Gaza border into Israel (on) April 20 … Hitler’s birthday
Siding with neo-Nazis? United with Israel, May 21, 2017:
The PA … named a school after Nazi collaborator and war criminal Amin Al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem … (and an associate of Hitler) … When the Nazis offered to free some Jewish children, Al-Husseini fought against their release, and as a result 5000 children were sent to the gas chambers. The PA has named two schools after Nazi collaborator Hassan Salameh … In 1944, he was sent on a mission by the Nazis … (to start an) Arab revolt against the British and poison Tel Aviv’s water sources.
Snout in the trough. Christopher Knaus, Guardian Australia, yesterday:
Fraser Anning claimed a taxpayer-funded accommodation and meals allowance for staying at his brother’s hotel (at a cost of $85 a night) in the regional town of Babinda … Anning also claimed a $775.89 fare between Brisbane and Cairns (on March 6). In October or November Anning used the Babinda State hotel for a speech to local constituents … Guardian Australia is not suggesting Anning broke any rules on spending.
Snout in trough with Nazis. Miranda Devine, Daily Telegraph, January 8:
The hypocrisy of the pile-on merchants needs to be noted. When they couldn’t convict (Anning) of racism, they started hyperventilating about the $2800 cost to taxpayers of ferrying him from Brisbane to St Kilda beach. Yet no one had any problem when Bill and Chloe Shorten spent far more taxpayer dosh to whoop it up at the mardi gras last year in Sydney … “I don’t think the Australian taxpayer should be footing the bill for (Anning) to hang out with these Nazi mates of his,” said Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young.
Whose mates? Glenn Milne, abc.net.au, April 1, 2011:
On January 18, 2009, 3000 demonstrators marched in Melbourne to condemn the unilateral ceasefire announced by Israel in the Gaza Strip … The rally was organised by Australians for Palestine … Sarah Hanson-Young addressed the (protesters) … (In the crowd was) a placard, carried by a Muslim child … (saying): “Jews haven’t learn (sic) they need (a swastika) more than before”. Another depicted a … Star of David superimposed over a pig. And there was the T-shirt which featured a swastika embedded in a Star of David … emblazoned (with the words) … “Jewed To Death.com”.
