Fringe bonkers for Bashar as hard-right host and leftie lecturer barrack for tyrant

Andrew Bolt speaks out about the latest Syria conspiracy theories. Herald Sun online, yesterday:

Russia and conspiracy theorists insist the Syrian regime is being framed over the gas attack in Idlib province.

Sydney Uni lecturer Tim Anderson has been barracking for Assad. The Australian online, April 11:

Dr Tim Anderson … has sent a scathing series of tweets and social media posts over the past few days saying President Trump authorised “vanity terrorism” … Dr Anderson, who has visited Syria and personally met (Bashar) al-Assad in 2013, rejected reports the Syrian government orchestrated a chemical weapons strike …

Now Sky News host Ross Cameron is on the Bashar bus. Outsiders, Sunday:

I don’t believe that the Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad released chemical weapons. I don’t believe they did it.

Ross has a lot of interesting theories. Cameron’s Twitter, September 17 last year:

I believe @HillaryClinton:

is incontinent

wears a colostomy bag

is hiding it

Late back to debate coz changing bag. She’s finished.

US Defence Secretary James Mattis said Assad did it, at the Pentagon, April 11:

… it’s very clear who planned this attack, who authorised this attack and who conducted this attack itself.

The Pentagon actually released evidence. ABC News America, April 7:

The Pentagon has released a graphic detailing the flight path of a Syrian aircraft used to attack civilians with chemical weapons earlier this week.

Just imagine the evidence it would take to convince this bloke to bomb Assad. US President Donald Trump on Twitter, June 16, 2013:

We should stay the hell out of Syria …

British Prime Minister Theresa May speaking in London, April 13:

Apart from anything else, we believe it’s only the (Syrian) regime that has the capability to make such an attack.

Not good enough for Ross. Outsiders, Sunday:

I don’t believe it … it would be the most irrational, stupid, wrongheaded strategic decision you could ever imagine.

Our columnist David Kilcullen, who, unlike Cameron, knows about strategy, says Assad is using chemical weapons because he’s losing. The Weekend Australian, Saturday:

Assad’s regime, far from being blind to international condemnation, understands the severe political consequences of using chemical weapons, and only does so when its back is against the wall.

The far left and right are both suckling at Mother Russia’s teat. Reuters, April 11:

Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Russia had information that the United States was planning to launch new missile strikes on Syria, and that there were plans to fake chemicals weapons attacks there.

And Australian National University student Megan Shellie pinpoints the cause of the housing crisis. The Sydney Morning Herald, Saturday:

I can only come to the conclusion that maybe our parents don’t love us like theirs did.

Is Shellie taking her inspiration from Veruca Salt? Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’s I Want It Now, June 30, 1971:

And if I don’t get the things I am after

I’m going to scream.
