ASX 200 extends gains; RBA keeps rates at 4.1pc, Vocus bids $6.3bn for TPG assets

Welcome to the Trading Day blog for Tuesday, August 1. The ASX 200 index is up 0.7 per cent to 7461.80 at  2.35pm AEST after the RBA left rates at 4.1 per cent.
