FBW Gynaecology Plus, a specialist women’s practice providing expert advice across health, fertility and wellness, has picked up two awards in this year’s Telstra Best of Business Awards.

The firm, founded by gynaecologist Dr Fariba Behnia-Willison, was joined by companies such as passive surveillance system developer Silentium Defence, indigenous business Print Junction, and environmental firm Succession Ecology among the winners for South Australia.

Telstra’s business awards program has been running for more than 25 years, and judges participants across areas such as strategy and vision, customers and marketing, operations and innovation and technology.

“Telstra is proud to recognise our South Australian winners, all of whom should be admired, appreciated and applauded,’’ Telstra retail and regional executive Amanda Hutton said.

“To be recognised as a state winner in the Telstra Best of Business Awards is an incredible

achievement, and we hope this provides each business with a well-deserved moment of celebration for the amazing work they are doing in their community.”

All of the SA winners will now go on to represent their state and territory on the national stage on Wednesday, March 22, when they’ll pitch their business to an esteemed panel of judges.

In addition to judging, the national experience will see state winners attend masterclasses and

network with past winners, Telstra executives and other Australian business leaders.

The Best of Business Awards National Gala dinner will then be held on Thursday,

March 23, where the Business of the Year award winner will be revealed.
