Special Report: Decidr AI Industries has inked a strategic partnership with eBev to develop a purpose-built procurement artificial intelligence (AI) agent, designed specifically for the hospitality and beverage industry.

Decidr AI Industries (ASX:DAI) will collaborate with leading Australian beverage platform eBev to develop a purpose-built AI agent aimed at simplifying and streamlining sourcing workflows, enabling teams to make faster, more accurate decisions.

Founded in 2014, eBev is Australia's largest independent online ordering and financing platform for the beverage trade.

The platform simplifies the ordering process for hospitality venues across the country while reducing business administration for both venues and suppliers.

Decidr noted that eBev, with more than 70,000 products from more than 1,000 suppliers, “boasts the most extensive online beverage catalogue in the $90 Billion Australian hospitality industry”.

The platform serves a diverse range of venues, from small independent establishments to large hospitality groups, totalling more than 3,500 venues nationwide.

Notable clients and suppliers include:

  • Rockpool Dining Group
  • Australian Venue Co Bills Group
  • Signature Hospitality Group
  • The Oaks Hotel
  • Three Blue Ducks
  • LION Group, Oatley Wines
  • Coca-Cola Amatil
  • Asahi Beverages

Decidr highlighted eBev's “innovative features”, including integrated invoicing, multiple payment methods with direct integration into accounting software and a user-friendly interface for easy reordering and order tracking.

The platform also offers trade credit financing, guaranteeing payment to suppliers within three days, which reduces risk and enables suppliers to focus on business growth.

All this, noted Decidr, plus a commitment to simplifying and empowering the beverage trade, has positioned eBev as “a trusted partner in the hospitality industry, facilitating over $400 million in annual orders and continually expanding its reach and capabilities”.

AI-driven procurement agent

The aim of the collaboration between the two companies is to deliver an AI-driven procurement agent designed to enhance sourcing operations within the hospitality sector.

Key features will include:

  • Automated quote comparisons –  AI-driven analysis to rapidly compare supplier quotes, streamlining the selection process
  • Supplier recommendations – intelligent, data-driven supplier suggestions tailored to specific procurement needs
  • Demand forecasting – advanced analytics to anticipate inventory needs, improving stock management and reducing waste

Development is set to start in Q3 2025, with a broader rollout targeting eBev’s extensive venues and suppliers anticipated later in the year.

Decidr said that while it’s not currently possible to estimate the immediate financial impact of the collaboration, it marks a significant step in its strategy of engaging and leveraging large distribution channels with strategic parties, especially in reference to new verticals.

Decidr tech demonstrates ‘versatility’

Following its commercial launch in late 2024, Decidr’s Agentic AI platform is now deployed across customers in more than eight sectors, including recent and in-pilot partner-led deployments with ELMO, The Growth Faculty and CareerOne.

Decidr announced in March it had partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of the global tech giant, to accelerate global AI adoption and expand its AI solutions.

The company has reported $1m in annualised revenue in its first five months of commercialisation, which it said demonstrated the business as a best-in-class performer in SaaS.

Decidr’s executive chairman David Brudenell said the latest deal with eBev further enhanced its AI-driven operational solutions in hospitality, an industry worth ~$90bn annually in Australia.

“This collaboration complements our existing strategic partnerships with leading organisations like AWS, Go1, ELMO, and CareerOne, reinforcing our commitment to driving intelligent, scalable solutions across significant industry verticals,” he said, adding:

“Decidr technology continues to demonstrate its versatility through this partnership and illustrates the significant commercial opportunity in a future where businesses use AI every day.”

Meanwhile eBev CEO Ian Harris said the company was excited to partner with Decidr to bring powerful AI tools to its customers and suppliers:

“With thousands of venues and suppliers using eBev every day, this technology will help them save time, make smarter decisions and free up their teams to focus on service. It’s a big step forward for hospitality procurement.”
