Mosaic Property Group plans three luxury apartment projects for Gold Coast
Queensland developer Mosaic Property Group has three luxury apartment projects in the pipeline on prime beachside locations on the Gold Coast.
Queensland developer Mosaic Property Group is intensifying its commitment to the Gold Coast’s luxury apartment market, with three new high-end projects valued at more than $570m, positioned along prime beachfront or beachside locations.
Mosaic is about to launch Sophia by Mosaic in Palm Beach – a $135m direct beachfront development with 32 units in a nine-level block priced from $1.595m for a two-bedder. The project marks Mosaic’s entry into Palm Beach following developments in the Gold Coast’s fast-growing southern coastal markets of Bilinga and Kirra Beach. Construction is expected to start in the second quarter of next year.
In nearby Burleigh Heads, Mosaic has made a fifth site acquisition, with plans in place for a $185m ultra-luxury development.
Further expanding in Broadbeach, Mosaic has also secured its third site and submitted a development application for a $250m, 37-level tower on Mary Avenue, Broadbeach, proposing 59 half-floor and full-floor units.
As one of South East Queensland’s most prolific private multi-residential developers, Mosaic has delivered more than $2bn worth of real estate across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in the past decade, with a further $2bn worth of residential and mixed-use projects under construction or planned for delivery across South East Queensland within the next five years.
Founder and managing director Brook Monahan said the new site acquisitions underscored Mosaic’s confidence in the resilience of lifestyle-driven markets and the enduring demand for its design-led, functional, and beautifully finished residences.
”The strength of these markets has been exceptional since the pandemic,” Mr Monahan said, adding that the Gold Coast had been afflicted by limited supply, rising construction cost and many stalled projects.
“Our long-established in-house construction arm enables us to manage costs effectively and seize key opportunities.”
Mr Monahan said Sophia was shaping as an exceptional project for Palm Beach.
“Positioned on the dunes at the sought-after northern end of Palm Beach, Sophia occupies a premier beachfront site that we believe will be highly desirable,” Mr Monahan said.
“We already have a waitlist of Mosaic buyers from our existing database of previous and current owners, indicating another likely rapid sellout in this very unique location.”
Designed in collaboration with Bureau Proberts, Sophia will embody Palm Beach’s natural beauty, capitalising on its distinctive charm and breathtaking views.
Blending exclusivity, opulence and functionality, Sophia will offer residents an array of amenities, including a pool, spa, gym, and sauna.
Mosaic said it had completed more than 65 developments across South East Queensland since 2012.
