Recently incorporated as a private Australian company, which started trading here last year, Asia Digital Investments paid $10.7m for a unit in the 82-apartment tower. Local buyers have also inspected Barangaroo, which caught the attention of Sydney millionaire Ian Malouf. But he opted instead for John Boyd’s penthouse atop the ANZ tower in Castlereagh St. Malouf paid more than $60m for the penthouse which had been on the market with a $66m price tag for several years. Historic farm, homestead listing
Billed as the first farm and oldest residence over the NSW Blue Mountains, Paul and Bonny Hennessy are looking to list Macquarie near Bathurst in the state’s Central Tablelands. After 10 years of solid renovation, the couple is keen to downsize from the 486ha property which runs sheep, cattle and crops. Given its unique history the Hennessy’s open the house and estate for charity events. They are yet to appoint an agent but say they have been renovating and restoring Macquarie over the past decade. The farm has had just three owners since pastoralist William Lawson was granted the land in 1814. The homestead, comprising nearly 30 rooms, was built in 1820.
