Francesca Packer-Barham snaps up $16m Darlinghurst penthouse
Fresh from London, heiress and designer Francesca Packer-Barham wasted no time snapping up prestige Sydney property.
Heiress Francesca Packer-Barham has indulged on an Australian visit with purchase of a luxurious Sydney penthouse, costing an estimated $16 million.
The 40th storey of the Darlinghurst’s Horizon Apartments is now under the ownership of the 25-year-old influencer and eldest grandchild of late media mogul Kerry Packer, after the deal was settled on Thursday night.

Taking up the whole level of the tower with views directly down to the harbour, the Harry-Seidler-designed property was passed in at a private on-site auction last Saturday after neither of the two registered parties placed a bid.
Knight Frank agent Adam Ross brokered the sale with colleague Oliver Stillman. Neither were able to comment on the deal due to hefty nondisclosure agreements but confirmed the sale to The Australian.
Ms Packer-Barham, the London-based daughter of billionaire Gretel Packer and English financier Nicholas Barham, is a keen interior designer and will have plenty of space to play with throughout the 565 sqm of internal living space.
The proeprty sports five bedrooms, five bathrooms and an eight car garage.
In February Mr Ross described the property as “good bang for your buck”.
The space was designed to on clear lines and the vision of the harbour and city views. Cote d’azure marble and French oak herringbone parquetry feature throughout, with designer lighting and bespoke joinery with leather accents adds to the luxe appeal.
The apartment was originally listed with a $20m price guide.
The shell of the space was purchased across two titles by the Melbourne-based Graham family for $9.83 million in 2018.
At just 25, Ms Packer-Barham is no stranger to the property market. Before heading back to London to complete her final year of design school in 2017, the heiress sold her Melbourne investment property in South Yarra for $7.6 million. She made a tidy profit on the property which she bought in 2015 for $6,125,000 when she was dating a Melbourne property developer.
A two-bedroom apartment in Elizabeth Bay is also in her portfolio following its $2.1 million purchase in 2016.
