Multi-millionaire Angus Karoll has pocketed almost $11 million from the sale of his peninsula estate.

Multi-millionaire coal-seam gas entrepreneur Angus Karoll has pocketed almost $11 million from the sale of his peninsula estate encompassing three grand Darling Point apartments near Sydney’s landmark heritage houses, Swifts and Carthona. Karoll has since decamped from Darling Point and the buyer, a local, is said to be retaining the apartments known as Prudhoe, built circa 1855, as investments. Ray White Double Bay agents Elliott Placks and Ashley Bierman negotiated the deal over the converted manor house, selling the property before auction, but they declined to comment. Meanwhile, Karoll secured development approval to add a fourth floor to Prudhoe on the northern tip of the Darling Point peninsula through architect Michael Suttor.
