DARE Property’s Amara Mosman project combines luxury living with wellness
Mosman’s newest luxury address will combine multimillion-dollar apartments with a groundbreaking wellness hub, as luxury developer DARE taps into the global health boom.
Luxury developer DARE Property Group plans to capitalise on the global wellness boom by incorporating a health retreat within its Amara Mosman residential development in the wealthy Sydney Harbourside suburb.
The $200m seven-level development fronting Military Road will sport 26 apartments along with a first-class concierge.
Headed by Danny Avidan, the eastern suburbs-based property developer DARE is muscling in on the wellness craze, with plans to incorporate a 1600sq m wellness and retail precinct at Amara Mosman.
With life expectancy increasing and wellness businesses thriving, savvy property investors stand to reap significant profits from this evolving health trend.
Amara Mosman’s wellness and retail precinct represents a first of its kind offering for the suburb, responding to growing demand for holistic lifestyle amenities within residential developments. It includes garden and rooftop areas alongside retail.
All up, there are 26 apartments on offer in Amara Mosman including a one-bedroom unit, six two-bedroom residences, eighteen three-bedroom apartments, and a five-bedroom penthouse.
According to the developer the penthouse is the crown jewel with five bedrooms, bathrooms and car spaces as well as interiors designed by Fiona Lynch.
Internal living areas range from 60sq m to 500sq m with all units sold with secure parking of from one to five spaces.
The two-bedroom apartments will be priced from $3.25m while three bedrooms will cost from $4.95m. The price of the penthouse is yet to be decided.
Along with new dining and retail venues, Amara, which will front 700 Military Road in the heart of Mosman, is expected to help transform it.
According to DARE, Sydney’s luxury residential market is experiencing strong demand, with boutique developments rare in harbourside suburbs.
“The timing responds to significant demographic shifts in Mosman, where substantial house prices, along with homeowners seeking to downsize, are driving demand for premium apartment alternatives that maintain the lifestyle, wellness and convenience that defines North Shore living,” said David Avidan from DARE Property.
“There has never been a lifestyle-focused high street address in Mosman quite like this before. We have the spectacular views in both directions towards the harbour and city, and the vibrant high street village lifestyle. All of these key service elements and wellness amenities, which we have created, will make life easy and increase the wellbeing of our clients,” he said.
Designed by DKO, Amara Mosman will feature textured brickwork along with expansive harbour and city skyline views capturing both the Harbour Bridge and the natural beauty of the heads.
Interiors include natural stone benchtops with four styles of European marble, crown-cut veneer joinery, chevron timber flooring, and integrated wine storage. Kitchens have Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances while bathrooms feature Rogerseller fixtures and smart toilets.
Each apartment includes private outdoor spaces with landscaped gardens and harbour-facing terraces. The building’s central landscaped atrium provides natural ventilation and northern light, separating the development’s east and west wings. Floors are serviced by two lift cores. Two colour schemes are available from a soft palette to a deeper, more dramatic option – allowing residents to personalise their apartment.
The lobby will feature artwork by Australian artist Ben Mazey, reflecting the development’s commitment to supporting local Sydney creative talent.
“The interiors at Amara … are both understated and elegant, each space has been crafted with timelessness in mind, offering a refined aesthetic that endures,” said Michael Drescher, director of Interior Design at DKO.
Amara’s marketing agent Steven Chen, co-founder of The Agency, believes there will be a strong uptake for the project given the immense array of health and wellness facilities which will be in one location.
Amara will be launched over the next few months with construction scheduled to commence next year. Completion is expected by the end of 2027.
Founded by Danny Avidan, DARE Property has built more than $1bn worth of projects across Sydney with developments across the premium eastern suburbs, coupled with a pipeline extending to Double Bay and Manly.
“Mosman is a natural fit given our current portfolio of eastern suburb locations. It will also tie in with our pipeline consisting of projects in Double Bay and Manly,” the developer noted.
