The owners of advertising agency Brave are selling their Warriewood home, 30km north of the Sydney CBD, with a price guide of at least $3.6m.
The owners of advertising agency Brave are selling their Warriewood home, 30km north of the Sydney CBD, with a price guide of at least $3.6m. Erica and David Harding have enlisted McGrath Pittwater agent James Baker to sell the five-bedroom house on 1.12ha, which includes a pool, spa, stables and paddock.
The Hardings paid $2.1m for the 1970-built property in 2016, public records reveal. It is surrounded by National Park and has ocean views. Erica Harding, who is downsizing, said “it feels like a wellness retreat”. The auction of the Orchard St property is on June 26.

Private island paradise
The founder of Peppe’s Pasta in Sydney’s Haberfield has just listed his 53ha freehold private island across the strait from Queensland’s Fraser Island. Joe Cassaniti and his family are selling Bandicoot Island in the Great Sandy Strait through McGrath Noosa agent Matt Powe. There is no price guide for the island which forms part of the Great Sandy Biosphere marine park. Preferred land use under the Fraser Coast Planning scheme is an eco-based resort. The island is 14km from Fraser Island’s Kingfisher Bay Resort and is around 1400m long. It last traded in 1994.

Castlereagh prices out
Sydney’s luxury 111 Castlereagh apartment development has put a listing price of $1.9m on its one bedroom apartments, while four bedroom units and penthouses are expected to start from $13.5m. Developed by Cbus Property atop the David Jones building in the city, the 101 apartments have expansive views over Hyde Park and Sydney Harbour. Apartment residents will enjoy a rooftop oasis including a private swimming pool, gym, gardens and large wraparound terraces. Colliers International managing director residential, Peter Chittenden, expects most buyers will be local owner-occupiers. A 22-level tower will sit above the heritage podium. Construction is already underway and Cbus Property reckons the apartments will be ready for occupation by the third quarter of 2023.

Toorak land record
A Toorak residential site has achieved a land price record of $12,300/sq m through RT Edgar agent Antoinette Nido. The purchasers of 25 St Georges Rd, Toorak, plan to demolish the house on the more than 1000sq m site to develop a new home, having paid around $13m for the site, industry sources said. Nido is also marketing nearby 34 Albany Rd, Toorak, which is a deceased estate. The auction for that five bedroom mansion on more than 1000sq m is set down for June 11. Nido has a price guide of $10.5m to $11.5m for the mansion known as Cottingley. Designed in the English estate style by Geoffrey Sommers it offers a 32m street frontage and views over Melbourne.
