Western Australian billionaire Stan Perron dies aged 96

Stan Perron, the founder and chairman of the Perron Group, has passed away weeks after turning 96.

West Australian billionaire Stan Perron has died at the age of 96.

The founder and chairman of the Perron Group died on Friday morning and is survived by his wife Jean, three children and seven grandchildren. Mr Perron was born in Perth in November 1922 but spent most of his youth in the Goldfields region, joining the workforce at the age of 14 and eventually building Perron Group with net assets of more than $4 billion.
