Oz Minerals lifts gold production forecast
Oz Minerals raises 2019 gold production forecast after gold output rose in the third quarter.
Oz Minerals raised its 2019 gold production forecast as the Australian miner said it produced more gold but less copper in its fiscal third quarter versus the three months immediately prior.
The Adelaide-based company reported gold output of 30,346 troy ounces for the three months through September, up from 27,072 ounces in the previous quarter.
Oz Minerals raised its projection for annual gold output to 123,400-136,800 ounces, from 122,200-135,600 ounces earlier, citing higher-than-anticipated output from its Antas gold operation in Brazil.
Third-quarter copper production totalled 24,663 tonnes, down from 28,525 tonnes, it said.
