Is an interest only home loan for you?

It’s one thing playing the market as a property investor, it’s another playing the market with your home.

The release of the HILDA report this week revealed that a surprisingly large number of Australians are opting for no deposit home loans. These are homeowners simply meeting their interest repayments every month and totally ignoring the principal of the mortgage.

It’s a big gamble, and one that could go very wrong if interest rates in the wrong direction.
