Morrison & Co has purchased Canberra Data Centres for just over $1 billion on behalf of its clients.

Infratil will own a 48 per cent stake the Canberra Data Centres, worth $392m, while Commonwealth Super will own the remainder, according to a report on The Australian’s BusinessNow blog.

Quadrant Private Equity previously owned about half of the business.

CDC controls sensitive information on behalf of the government and is the leading provider of outsourced data in Canberra.
