Carbon Revolution is hoping to lock in cornerstone investors this week for its float that it hopes will see it with an IPO worth up to $80m.
Working on the deal is Bell Potter and Evans Dixon.
Once listed, the company is expected to be worth about $400m. The primary raising will only be for about $25m following a recent pre-IPO raising worth $73m.
Carbon Revolution is an Australian company that has commercialised and industrialised the supply of carbon fibre wheels to the automotive industry.
The group has been around for about a decade and will generate strong earnings once the company is able to cut costs.
Owners of the business include car alloy wheel manufacturer Ronal and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation. Backers also include the Victorian government and Acorn Capital.
Various institutional investors participated in the pre-IPO raising, including Thorney and Quest Asset Partners.
