ANZ’s $1.75bn bonds issue

ANZ has priced $1.75 billion of five-year bond issues yesterday, according to term sheets from the bank.

One tranche of the issuance is $1.35bn of floating-rate bonds at 82 basis points over BBSW, the bank bill swap reference rate, while the other one is $400 million of fixed rate bonds at 3.75 per cent annual rate.

Both tranches will settle on Friday and mature on July 25, 2019. The bond sale has been managed by ANZ. The bank has been rated AA- by Standard & Poor’s and Aa2 by Moody’s.
