Kerry Stokes’ Seven West Media was yesterday ordered to face Amber Harrison, the former lover of chief executive Tim Worner, across the bargaining table one more time in a bid to resolve the bitter stoush between the two sides.

Over Seven’s objections, Federal Court judge Mordecai Bromberg ordered the two sides to meet for a mediation in Melbourne on or before June 1.

He also ordered the proceeding stayed until judgment is delivered in a related proceeding underway before the NSW Supreme Court.

Ms Harrison’s counsel, Julian Burnside, QC, said talks would be finished before his client and Seven go to trial in NSW.

The Federal Court suit alleges breaches of Ms Harrison’s rights under the Fair Work Act.
