Baird spreads word on NSW
PREMIER Mike Baird has been spruiking NSW to big business and will look to Europe for future infrastructure investment. Addressing an Australian British Chamber of Commerce lunch in Sydney, Mr Baird promoted investment opportunities to representatives from heavyweights including Lend Lease, KPMG, ANZ and British American Tobacco.
It comes as law firm Allens has been appointed to work on the sale of the state’s electricity network businesses.
Allens will join investment bankers UBS and Deutsche Bank in the process, which will conduct scoping studies to determine the sale structure.
Law firms are also tendering for roles in Victoria for the lease of the Port of Melbourne.
