Rio Olympics supported in Qantas pyjama colours

Gone are the grey colours for sleeping business class fliers ... replaced by a patriotic green and yellow.

travel: Qantas is getting into the spirit of the upcoming Rio Olympic Games with the release of a limited edition, green and gold version of its popular business class pyjamas.

The national carrier is switching its grey, cotton, long-sleeve pyjamas for a patriotic, Australian themed set that features a gold kangaroo emblazoned on the front of a dark-green shirt with the hashtag #RoadToRio on the back.

The pyjamas will be available from July 22 until September 18 for all passengers travelling business class across key international routes.

“We thought it would be very appropriate to turn them green and gold in support of the men and women representing Australia at Rio,” Qantas head of brand, marketing and corporate affairs Olivia Wirth said.

Australian Olympians and Paralympians will receive their own set of green and gold PJs when they return home on a specially chartered Qantas B747.
