US-Australian software firm Altium has appointed three new non-executive directors as it seeks to transform the global electronics industry.

Sylvia Wiggins and Lauren Williams have been appointed as independent non-executive directors and Michael Hawker as lead independent non-executive director in an expanded board.

Altium chairman Sam Weiss, who has announced his intention to stand down from the role once a suitable replacement has been found, said the trio would enhance the company’s performance.

“We believe that their skills and experience will add greatly to the expertise of the board and to assist the board and our global management team to accelerate both the growth of Altium and its impact on the electronics industry,” he said.
