A Woolworths supermarket and Melbourne-bound Qantas flight are among the latest coronavirus exposure locations, the Department of Health has confirmed.

Anyone who visited Woolworths at Main St, Box Hill on October 9 between 1.30-1.50pm; October 10 between 1.30-1.50pm and October 12 between 6-6.20pm should get tested for COVID-19.

In a statement Woolworths said the supermarket giant was notified of a customer who had contracted the disease and attended the Box Hill store on Monday.

“Whilst we have been advised that the risk to customers and team members is low, the safety and wellbeing of the local community is our priority,” it said.

“As a food retailer, we already have very high standards of cleaning and hygiene in place, and the store had a detailed deep clean overnight on Wednesday, 14 October.”

Customers who shopped in the Box Hill store on Friday were also urged to get tested, the statement read.

Meanwhile, any passengers on the Qantas flight QF2149 flying from Canberra to Melbourne on October 7 between 8.30-9.15am should also get tested for COVID-19.

Victoria recorded only two new coronavirus cases and no deaths on Friday as the city’s all-important 14-day average fell for the second straight day.

It’s the state’s lowest daily increase in 129 days since zero new cases were reported on June 9.
