A woman has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a man and a woman at a bus stop outside a busy Westfield shopping centre in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Emergency services said they have responded to a stabbing at a bus stop in Maroubra.

A 41-year-old woman was arrested on scene and taken to Maroubra Police Station, where inquiries are ongoing.

The parties are not believed to be not known to each other.

There is no ongoing threat to the community, NSW Police confirmed.
