Woman charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another woman to death

A woman has been charged with murder after her alleged victim was found at the scene with a stab wound to her chest.

A woman has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another woman at a home in Adelaide’s north.

Emergency services were called to a home on Bronte Crescent at Elizabeth East about 6.40pm on Thursday after reports a woman had been stabbed.

A 28-year-old woman from Para Hills West was found at the scene with a stab wound to her chest.

She was taken to hospital in a critical condition and died later that night.

A 25-year-old woman from Davoren Park was arrested at the scene

She has been charged with murder and been refused bail.

She is expected to appear before the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Friday.

The women were known to each other, police said.
