Aussies could fly around the country for as little as $49 this summer as part of one airline’s monster sale.
Australians looking to take a long-awaited summer holiday could score flights for as little as $49 after Virgin slashed the prices of more than one million of its fares.
The airline’s “Bring on Summer” sale is offering up to 30 per cent off domestic and international economy fares to 34 destinations.
Some of those locations include popular summer holidays spots like the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Bali, Samoa and Fiji.
Travellers can take advantage of less expensive one-way economy flights in both directions, including Sydney-Byron Bay ($49), Sydney-Gold Coast ($69), Melbourne-Gold Coast ($79), and Sydney-Brisbane ($89).
Those looking to be more adventurous can book cheap international return economy flights in both directions, including Gold Coast-Bali ($469), Brisbane-Vanuatu ($475) and Sydney-Fiji ($489).
The affected flights are running from January, 17 2023 to June, 24, 2023.
The sale started on Tuesday and will last until midnight on Monday, September 5, or until sold out.
