Victorian Police were called when a man’s body was found at a Park St home in Portland at 7.30pm on Thursday.
The man yet to be formally identified.
Police later arrested a 45-year-old man at the same address following the tragic discovery.
The Portland man was charged with charged with one count of murder.
He will appear at Warrnambool Magistrates’ Court on January 22.
