Three-year-old killed in horror crash in Queensland

A three-year-old has died in a horror crash that also involved an eight-month-old baby.

A three-year-old has been killed in a horror crash.

The Forensic Crash Unit has launched an investigation after a three-year-old died in a crash in Queensland overnight.

A Mitsubishi ASX was driving along Lowmead Road in Rosedale — a town between Bundaberg and Gladstone — about 7.30pm when it left the road and crashed.

Bystanders and emergency services attempted to help the toddler however the three-year-old was declared dead at the scene.

The 38-year-old driver was taken to Bundaberg Hospital with minor injuries, while an eight-month-old passenger was not injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Anyone with information has been urged to come forward.
