The 27-year-old woman will face Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday.

Her arrest comes more than three months after the coins were stolen from the warehouse in Wetherill Park, in western Sydney.

The unreleased coins had been produced by the Australian Mint with the image of the iconic Australian cartoon character Bluey.

Police launched an investigation under Strike Force Bandit and have since charged two men over the alleged theft.

During the arrests, officers seized 189 limited-edition $1 Bluey coins.

Police have noted the limited-edition coins are now being sold for 10 times their face value.

The limited-edition coins were due to enter circulation in September but were stolen before they could be released.

In mid-August, police said they had recovered about 1000 of the 63,000 coins.

The stolen coins are different from a set of three coloured Bluey-themed coins released by the Royal Australian Mint in June. Those 90,000 $1 coins are being sold online for $20.

Bluey is an Australian animated series that has achieved international recognition and numerous awards for its depiction of a family of anthropomorphic dogs tackling life’s ups and downs together.
