Two security guards at The Lookout in Scarborough have been charged with assault after a man was hospitalised with facial injuries.

Two security guards have been charged over an alleged assault at a bar near Perth that left a man hospitalised with face and head injuries.

Police allege a physical altercation started inside The Lookout, located along Scarborough’s beachside, between two male security guards and a man and woman about 8.15pm on Sunday.

It is alleged the security guards assaulted the victims, and the 39-year old man was taken to the Joondalup Health Campus with face and head injuries.

Nezir Ibrahimovic, 32, from Balga man has been charged with assault, stealing, destroying evidence and intent to cause bodily harm.

Enver Ibrahimovic, 37, from Nollamara has been charged with intent to cause bodily harm.

The men appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday and were both granted bail to appear again on May 26.

Premier Roger Cook told media when it came to crowd control violence was unacceptable.

“The security people there are to keep everyone safe,” he said.

“Sometimes people have to be encouraged to leave the premises, that’s part of the job, but obviously we don’t want that to escalate into violence.”
