Fancy walking among the stars in Hollywood or taking in some royal splendour at Buckingham Palace?

Qantas has just launched a massive new sale to help Aussies escape the grind and travel abroad, discounting 450,000 overseas tickets in its latest International Red Tail Sale.

An economy ticket from Brisbane to Seoul, the sparkling capital of South Korea, is going for $949, while Sydney to Port Vila, the picturesque capital of Vanuatu, is priced at $699.

Ski lovers can nab a ticket from Brisbane to Queenstown in New Zealand for just $619.

Aussies can also save thousands on trips further abroad to the world’s iconic travel zones.

A ticket from Melbourne to Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world, is going for $1099, while the mammoth Sydney to London route is priced at $1799 and Sydney to New York is going for $1699.

A business fare ticket from Melbourne to Auckland is going for $1199, while a Sydney to LA trip is priced at $7299.

The sale features discounted fares in all cabins, from first class to economy, to destinations as varied as London and Los Angeles to New York, Seoul, Hong Kong and Auckland.

The discounted seats can be booked with either cash or points as a Classic Plus reward seat.

The sale runs from until 11.59pm on August 5, unless sold out prior.

The travel period runs from August 2024 to June 2025.
