Police release images of group following brutal brawl at Sydney Olympic Park
There has been a major update after a brutal brawl broke out in the stands of an NRL game in a major sporting arena, which left one woman knocked unconscious.
Police have released several images of the people following a large brawl at Sydney Olympic Park in early April in Sydney’s west.
The scuffle occurred at an NRL match between the Bulldogs and Knights, which took place at the Edwin Flack Ave, Sydney Olympic Park at 8.15pm on Sunday April 6.
The fight left one woman knocked unconscious, and required members of the public and security to intervene.
The group left the scene shortly after.
“Police were told a 21-year-old woman was knocked unconscious while a man, also aged 21, was assaulted while trying to protect the woman,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.
They were both assisted by staff, and the woman was transported to Concord Hospital for treatment for facial injuries and expected to undergo further treatments.
The man did not require hospital treatment.

The brawl comes days after a group of fans were filmed fighting in the stalls, with more than 10 people being evicted from the premises.
An NRL spokesperson condemned the violent act.
“The NRL will work with the venue, security and NSW Police to identify instigators and take action through the NRL Spectator Code of Conduct,” the statement read, per Code Sports.
“Anti-social or abusive behaviour at NRL matches will not be tolerated.”
