NSW Covid-19 alerts: 12 bus routes added to exposure list
The list of Covid-19 exposure sites in NSW continues to grow, with a late-night alert issued for venues including a KFC and a medical centre.
NSW Health has issued a late-night alert for more NSW Covid-19 exposure sites.
Anyone who attended the venues is considered aclose contactwho must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result.
It includes an extended exposure warning for the KFC in Punchbowl.
Anyone who visited the KFC from July 27 to August 2 has been ordered to get tested.
The number of exposure sites in NSW is exploding as the outbreak grows.
There have been more than 500 venues of concern listed in the last two weeks.
Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant said at a press conference on Wednesday the government had “streamlined systems” to deal with the increasing number of exposure sites.
She admitted the increasing case numbers were a challenge and the systems needed to “ramp up”.
There have been 4319 cases in the NSW outbreak so far, with 262 recorded yesterday.

Earlier, a food court, a general practice and multiple public transport routes were added to the New South Wales Covid-19 exposure site list.
It comes as NSW recorded 262 new locally acquired cases of coronavirus in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Of the locally acquired cases, 129 are linked to a known case or cluster, while the source of infection for 133 cases remains under investigation.
Anyone who attended the following venues is considered a close contact who must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result.

NSW Health will send a text message to people who have checked in at close contact venues with further information.
Anyone who does not receive a text message is urged to call 1800 943 553.
