A man is in hospital after a reported stabbing attack at a Bunnings carpark.

Bunnings faces supermarket prices inquiry

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in a Bunnings carpark.

The assault took place about 4.10pm on Friday at the Bundamba store near Ipswich in Queensland, the police have confirmed.

A group of men approached the victim and assaulted him.

The man in his 30s suffered several stab wounds to his upper body.

Paramedics took him in a serious but stable condition to hospital.

The group fled the scene in a dark coloured vehicle.

Police are now investigating the incident.
