Man, 41, killed in ‘targeted’ shooting in Slacks Creek, Queensland
A man has died in hospital after being shot in a suburban street south of Brisbane, in what police say was a targeted attack.
A manhas died after being shot in a suburb south of Brisbane in the early hours of the morning.
The 41-year-old was found with critical injuries in Rowanda St, Slacks Creek shortly before 1.15am on Friday, following reports of a shooting.
He was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition and has since died.
Homicide detectives remain on the scene on Friday morning.
Police told NewsWire there is no ongoing threat to the community.
“Initial investigations indicate this was a targeted incident,” a statement read.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
