Man charged with murder over suspected fight in Carlton
A 58-year-old handed himself into police after a younger man was found dead on a Melbourne street.
A man has been charged with murder after a 34-year-old man died following a suspected fight in inner Melbourne.
The victim was found lying injured in Victoria Street, Carlton at about 6.15pm Friday evening.
Police believe a physical altercation had just taken place.
The 34-year-old was rushed to hospital but later died.
A 58-year-old Melbourne man handed himself into police on Saturday evening and was subsequently charged with murder.
He was remanded to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Sunday.
