James Packer’s ex Tziporah Malkah found guilty of breaching court order
An ex-model and former fiancée of billionaire James Packer has learned her fate after making expletive-laden social media posts.
Ex-model Kate Fischer has been found guilty of breaching a court order after she posted expletive-laden posts about a man online.
Ms Fischer, who legally changed her name to Tziporah Malkah after she converted to Judaism, was excused from appearing in Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday for the decision in her two-and-a-half year struggle.
The 48-year-old, former fiancee billionaire James Packer, was found guilty of breaching the court order.
Malkah was prohibited from publishing any information about the man online or on social media.
The court heard the former Vogue cover girl published a number of posts on social media in which she referred to him as an “a**hat”, “d*** for brains”, and a “f***head”.
After he was tipped off by a friend, the man captured screenshots of the posts and took them to the police to make a complaint.
He told police Malkah had used three different social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook to post a heavily redacted photo of the statement she had given to police.
The court heard the ex-actress, who starred alongside Elle Macpherson and Portia de Rossi in the film Sirens, was topless when a police officer went to her Elizabeth Bay apartment to discuss the issue.
Despite the officer asking her to put on a top, the court heard the former It-girl refused and continued to film the officer on her mobile phone. The court heard the footage was then uploaded to one of the same social media accounts Malkah had used to publish the posts.
Magistrate Jennifer Atkinson said it was clear that Malkah had access to the social media accounts, despite her claims that her friends and houseguests could have published the posts.
“I find the acts of posting and reposting the statement with comments are consistent with the acts of someone who knew what they were doing,” she said.
“It’s completely implausible that anyone other than the defendant would have done everything involved with posting, taking down, and reposting the statement with the slip of paper.”
While Magistrate Atkinson accepted there was no direct evidence to show Malkah pressed publish on the posts, she found Malkah guilty of breaching the court order.
The former fiancee of James Packer will return to Sutherland Court on July 14 for sentencing.
Malkah is the eldest daughter of former Minister for Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, Pru Goward. She shot to fame at the age of 13 when she was featured on the cover of Dolly magazine, which propelled her into a life of modelling.
Malkah was the Australian It-girl of the 90s who featured on the cover of Vogue and acted in blockbuster films alongside stars like Hugh Grant. She was a regular feature in tabloids during her high-profile relationship with billionaire James Packer, to whom she was engaged for two years.
She disappeared from the public eye after a stint on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but has since announced she has launched an OnlyFans account featuring subscriber-only content.
