Here’s what you can do in Queensland from noon Friday
Queenslanders will enjoy an easing of coronavirus restrictions on Friday a week ahead of schedule. Here’s what you can do.
All of Queensland’s hard work pays off on Friday at noon when the state moves into stage three coronavirus restrictions.
The easing of restrictions comes a week ahead of schedule due to Queensland’s low virus count in recent weeks.
Friends and family will be able to gather in larger groups, and Queenslanders will be able to access community amenities such as libraries and sport with greater freedom.
And businesses such as casinos and gambling venues, nightclubs and food courts will be able to reopen, while other businesses that have been operating under reduced trading will enjoy further allowances.
Here’s the nitty gritty of what is allowed for Queenslanders after the clock strikes 12 on Friday:
- Friends, family and community gatherings of up to 100 at homes
