A cult-favourite instant noodle meal beloved by students has been recalled and pulled from Aussie shelves over food safety fears.

Grant Eastern Trading issued the recall for the Indomie Rasa Soto Mie and Indomie Rasa Ayam Bawang products, warning of undeclared allergens.

Indomie Rasa Soto Mie has an undeclared allergen of milk, while Indomie Ayam Bawang has an undeclared allergen of egg.

“Any consumers who have a milk and or egg allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” Food Standards Australia said in its recall alert this week.

“Consumers should return the product or products to the place of purchase for a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”

The two products were available for sale at Asian grocery stores in Victoria.

The recalled Indomie Rasa Soto Mie has a “best before” date marking of April 10, 2025, and Indomie Rasa Ayam Bawang has a best before marking of April 1, 2025.

The recall only applies to products that do not declare the milk and egg allergens, Food Safety Australia added.
