He has not yet entered pleas to this matter.

He is also charged with destroying the residential window of a man in Newtown on January 6 this year, and then assaulting a different man intending to rob him on the same night, for which he earlier entered pleas of guilty.

In relation to the latest incident on October 11, police allege Dean walked into the TSG Tobacconist on Elizabeth St about 11pm with a 30cm long hammer in hand and assaulted a male employee of the store.

Court documents allege he was armed with the silver hammer with the intention of assaulting and intimidating the employee.
