Daycare worker arrested for allegedly sexually touching young child
Police have arrested and charged a 34-year-old man for allegedly sexually abusing a young child in a Sydney daycare centre.
A 34-year-old daycare worker has been arrested for allegedly sexually touching a child at a Sydney daycare centre.
Detectives received a report that a child under 10 years old had been sexually abused at a daycare centre in Western Sydney in September.
Following an extensive investigation by the Child Abuse Squad, detectives located a 34-year-old man in a warehouse in Kemps Creek at 12.45pm on Thursday.
He was taken to a police station in Penrith, where he was charged with intentionally sexually touching a child under 10 and common assault.
The man has been refused bail and is expected to appear before Penrith Local Court on Friday.
