A manhunt is underway after three men allegedly armed with machetes forced their way into a home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs overnight.

Police were called to Curlewis St, Bondi Beach, about 1.20am on Sunday following reports of a violent home invasion.

Officers were told the masked trio entered through the front door and threatened the occupants, two women, aged 38 and 26, and a 28-year-old man.

No serious injuries were reported, and police believe the violent break-in was a targeted attack.

Detectives have established a crime scene and launched an investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
