Elizabeth Colman began her career at The Australian working in the Canberra press gallery and as industrial relations correspondent for the paper. In Britain she was a reporter on The Times and an award-winning financial journalist at The Sunday Times. She is a past contributor to Vogue, former associate editor of The Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Telegraph, and former editor of the Wentworth Courier. Elizabeth was one of the architects of The Australian’s new website theoz.com.au and launch editor of Life & Times, and was most recently The Australian’s content director.

A QUEENSLAND coal mining company will reopen a mothballed mine less than a year after purchasing it for $1. Stanmore Coal says the Isaac Plains mine is on track for first shipment of coking coal in April 2016.
