Splendour 2024 lineup has dropped early with one Aussie sensation announced as a headliner
Splendour In The Grass have dropped their lineup a day early, with huge names making the list, including one of Australia’s very own set to exclusively headline.
Splendour In The Grass has dropped their long-anticipated 2024 line up early for the upcoming festival in July, with big talents that are sure to get fans excited.
The lineup was initially pegged to drop on Wednesday, however the stacked list of artists was posted to the festival’s website on Tuesday night.
Surprising or not, some of the names to take the stage include an exclusive performance from Kylie Minogue, homegrown talent G Flip and Tash Sultana, as well as acclaimed overseas acts such as Arcade Fire, Fontaines D.C and Baby Gravy featuring Yung Gravy and BBNO$.
Byron Bay will once again host the iconic festival from Friday, July 19 to Sunday July 21.
It is one of the nation’s largest festivals, which began as a boutique event for 7500 people in 2001, and has gradually grown to accommodate a capacity of 50,000 attendees.
Splendour 2023 was initially one of cautious optimism after a disastrous - and muddy - 2022 weekend, with 2023 the first time the festival failed to sell out at the box office.
Headliners last year included Lizzo, Flume and Mumford & Sons.
In the past six months there have been several festival cancellations due to increasing economic pressures, including Falls Festival in late 2023, Coastal Jam and Groovin’ In The Moo last month.
This year, fans have the chance to score tickets with presale access beginning at 9am AEDT Thursday March 14 for Splendour Members, with other pre-sales with Optus and TikTok opening in the following days.
