The Emmys turned into the world’s most glamorous Zoom call, as HBO’s “Watchmen” led the way while Cult favourite “Schitt’s Creek” cleaned up in the comedy awards.
HBO’s “Watchmen,” a dark superhero series that tackles US racism, triumphed at the Emmys, winning outstanding limited series, elbowing aside rivals Little Fires Everywhere, Mrs. America, Unbelievable and Unorthodox. Watchmen ended up with a total of 11 awards. Picture: Foxtel
