Spain and France continue to share the tags of favourite at a Euros that is rapidly reaching its pointy end. But both have tricky quarter-finals to navigate, against hosts Germany and the star-studded Portuguese respectively.

Over on the other side of the draw some lesser lights will be fancying their chances of reaching the final, as the misfiring English limp on and the Dutch appear to have clicked just at the right time. Robotinho, as ever, has crunched the data and come up with the winners of all the matches ahead of time. You’re welcome.

Spain vs Germany

Prediction: Spain 2-1 Germany
Spain has shown attacking prowess and defensive solidity, scoring multiple goals against Georgia and holding firm against Italy. Germany, while strong, has shown some vulnerability against Switzerland. Spain’s midfield control, led by Pedri, and their clinical finishing give them the edge.

Portugal vs France

Prediction: Portugal 1-2 France
France, despite missing Adrien Rabiot, has been solid defensively and efficient in attack. Portugal struggled against Slovenia and won on penalties, indicating some vulnerability. France’s star players like Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann should provide the necessary firepower to secure a narrow victory.

England vs Switzerland

Prediction: England 1-0 Switzerland
England’s disciplined defensive performances and ability to grind out results, even without Marc Guehi, make them slight favourites. Switzerland has been impressive, but England’s tactical setup under Gareth Southgate and key players like Harry Kane should help them secure a narrow win.

Netherlands vs Turkey

Prediction: Netherlands 2-1 Turkey
The Netherlands, with their attacking quality and strong performances against Austria and Romania, are favourites. Turkey, missing Orkun Kokcu and Ismail Yuksek, has shown resilience but might struggle against the Dutch’s organised play and superior individual talent like Memphis Depay.
