There’s just eight teams left in the contest, but we still have 20 days until this World Cup comes to an end.
France and Ireland are the equal favourites to take out the title, and both are hunting their first World Cup title. France has been the runner-up on three other occasions, while Ireland has never made it past the quarter-finals.
South Africa and New Zealand are equal second favourites, and the two countries have dominated the competition for more than 15 years, with the Kiwis winning in 2011 and 2015 and the Springboks winning in 2007 and 2019.

Fijian coach Simon Raiwalui said he was disappointed with the loss, but Portugal wouldn’t give up.
“Congratulations to Portugal, they played really well...fully deserved victory to them,” Raiwalui said.
“We just dropped too much ball...created lots of opportunities, but just didn’t free that ball up.”
Fiji will now play England in the quarter-final next Monday.

‘Best moment of my life’

“Work a lot for that. I have no words to say, it is historic ... I think it is the best moment of my life,” Martins said.
Wallabies’ World Cup over despite loss for Fiji
The Wallabies are officially out of the 2023 Rugby World Cup after Fiji lost to Portugal by a point in the final group stage match.
All Fiji needed was a bonus point to qualify for the quarter-finals, and despite Portugal taking the lead with a minute left in the match, the Flying Fijians got the bonus point because they lost by seven points or less.

Portugal keep dream alive with late try
It’s an eventful second half in Toulouse and Portugal aren’t done yet.
Os Lobos have barely had the ball in the past 15 minutes, but Raffaele Storti made a break up the right touchline, and with an offload to Rodrigo Marta, they are back on the board.
The conversion from Samuel Marques is good, and they take the lead with a minute left of play.
