Just one day after what some have described as Australia's darkest day in Ashes, and perhaps sporting history, Australian cricket coach Darren Lehmann is looking to take his mind off things.
The former cricketer and current coach sent out a seemingly innocent request to the Twittersphere in search of tickets to English Premier League football match between Liverpool and Stoke City.
But the response he received was likely not what he had hoped for.
Twitter users wasted no time in offering assistance to the cause.
Lehmann clearly did not see the humour in the many tweets he received, and shortly tweeted a reply to those offering their two cents.
Candice Warner, wife of batsman David Warner shared her sympathies with Lehmann, asking the question, "why are people so unkind?!" in her own tweet.
England ripped out the last three Australia wickets for 12 runs to win the fourth test by a crushing innings and 78 runs and regain the Ashes at a euphoric Trent Bridge on Saturday.
