Leaked map shows Katter MP Shane Knuth's seat on the chopping block in electorate shake-up

The seat of Dalrymple will be scrapped and four new electorates created under a proposed redistribution of Queensland electoral boundaries.
The Queensland Redistribution Council is due to release its proposed shake-up of electoral boundaries on Friday morning. But a map, which appears to show the proposed redistribution, was leaked on Thursday afternoon.
The redistribution will change the boundaries of some seats and also increase the number of seats from 89 to 93.
The map shows Dalrymple, held by Katter's Australian Party MP Shane Knuth, would be scrapped.

Mr Knuth's seat would be partially consumed by a larger Mount Isa electorate, held by his colleague Robbie Katter, which would be renamed Traegar.
A new seat of Hill, in between Cook and Hinchinbrook, would also take in part of Dalrymple.
Former premier Campbell Newman's contentious seat of Ashgrove, now held by Labor's Kate Jones, will be renamed Cooper and Grace Grace's Brisbane Central will become McConnel.

A new seat of Jordan would be created west of Logan, and Theodore and Bonney would be new seats on the Gold Coast.

On the Sunshine Coast, the boundaries of Speaker Peter Wellington's seat of Nicklin would change, and Noosa's boundaries will move, with the seat renamed Ninderry.
Glass House, held by Andrew Powell, would become Tibrogargan, Pine Rivers will reduce in size and be known as Kurwongbah.

In the inner-west, the LNP's Scott Emerson's seat of Indooroopilly would be renamed Maiwar (the traditional Aboriginal name for the Brisbane River), and Labor MP Mark Bailey's seat of Yeerongpilly would become Miller.
On the southside, ALP MP Peter Russo's seat of Sunnybank will move and be renamed Toohey.
On the bayside, the seat of Cleveland will become Oodgeroo, and partially consume a segment of the Redlands.
The Burdekin electorate, held by the LNP's Dale Last, would also change and be renamed McMaster.
