The three-bedroom, two-bathroom property, under Michelle’s name, was designed by PTW Architects and has access to a personal valet and concierge service.
Joshua is a director and secretary of FiveX, a multi-generational family business of 50 years that invests and leases commercial properties.
The new owner of the sun-soaked property, settlement documents have revealed, is Danielle Elkorr, 41.
Elkorr owns a string of properties, including an $11,125,000 Darling Point waterfront that she bought in 2015 when she was married to Joe Nahas of Coronation Property.
The Bergers, who bought the beachside penthouse in 2016 for $7,575,000 from former Ramsay Healthcare chief Chris Rex, sold it through Steven Chen of The Agency, who declined to comment.
The sale price may have been discounted from its initial asking price of $18 million, but the area is an attractive proposition for buyers.
Just ask billionaire Will Vicars, who runs the hedge fund Caledonia Investments and owns Aussie luxury accessories brand Oroton. He and wife Jane recently added a seventh investment property to his portfolio in the nearby Pacific.

The latest addition in the Linz and Litver-developed block, for which he clearly has a penchant, set him back just $2.55 million, taking his spend in the building to more than $45 million.
It was also sold through Steven Chen of The Agency, who again declined to comment.

Owner Des Walsh, who inherited the home from his parents, said the property felt more like it was set in Byron’s hinterland.
“It’s always been a happy home,” Walsh said. “You wouldn’t think you’re in Sydney. I’ve always described it like Byron Bay. It’s only 40 minutes from the city and 10 minutes to the beach. It’s been a great place to live.”
Hailing from Ireland, the family has always worked together in business, from owning a butcher’s shop to running Forest View nursing home in Chatswood and owning the Rock Lily nightclub in Mona Vale, which they later redeveloped.
Walsh said it was time for another family to enjoy the property.
The tightly held home is being sold through Darren Curtis of Christie’s International Real Estate by way of an “expressions of interest” campaign.

It has been rented out to the tune of $3500 a week since June 2022, records show.
It is being sold through Michael Coombs of Atlas Lower North Shore.
In Mosman, Former Elle magazine editor, interior designer and owner of homewares store Manyara Home Deb Coffey and her photographer husband, Ross, have finally found buyers for their Cremorne Point home, which had been on the market since last year.
It was the latest home project for the Coffeys – serial home renovators who have plans to downsize.
The elegant five-bedroom, four-bathroom house, which was redesigned by Villa + Villa, with views of Mosman Bay and direct access to Old Cremorne Wharf, sold around its last price guide of $11.5 million, local sources say. The couple paid $7.15 million for the waterfront house.
It was sold through Michael Coombs of Atlas Lower North Shore, who declined to comment.
