Young boys hospitalised after crash in Perth’s north

Two young boys aged eight and 11 are in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car while riding their bikes in Girrawheen yesterday.

Police said the eight-year-old received critical injuries and the 11-year-old serious injuries when they were hit by a black Mitsubishi Pajero about 5.15pm on Amberton Avenue.

Both were taken to Perth Children’s Hospital.

The 39-year-old male driver of the Mitsubishi Pajero was uninjured.

Major Crash investigators are at the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online.
